Paintings
My artwork is a reflection of an internal journey, created through layers of acrylic, charcoal, and ink on various surfaces. I begin each piece with organic lines and marks that guide the composition, allowing the work to evolve naturally without a predetermined outcome. This process of surrendering control mirrors a broader truth I hold about life: authenticity arises when we stay true to our feelings, even if the result resonates with some but not all viewers.
The subjects of my paintings emerge spontaneously from the very first mark. They are manifestations of my mood, energy, and the unique lens through which I perceive the world at any given moment. Much of my inspiration is drawn from time spent hiking in the woods, where nature’s rhythms and textures inform the layers and nuances of my work.
What truly inspires me is mindfulness—the practice of being present, embracing vulnerability, and letting go of judgment toward myself and others. I listen closely to my physical and emotional sensations, allowing them to steer the creative process and deepen my connection to the art.
In essence, my work is a personal and evolving conversation between my inner world and the natural world around me, captured through layers, marks, and moments of mindful presence.
