Brittany Bills-Coleman (born and raised in Newfane VT) is a self-taught artist who finds inspiration in nature.

My work is primarily creating semi-realistic acrylic paintings on upcycled tea-bags. I also press and dry flowers to make geometric designs. The tea-bags act as canvas and the pressed flower remnants get turned into paper, to be painted on again. I appreciate the whimsy of nature. The flowers, bugs, birds, etc. all inspire the work I make and I love having the opportunity to be able to reuse/ repurpose materials in such a way.
